Donald Trump Must Withdraw Price Nomination
(Washington, DC) — The following is a statement from Alex Lawson, Executive Director of Social Security Works:
“Tom Price is an incredibly unsuitable nominee to head the Department of Health and Human Services, and President-Elect Trump must withdraw his nomination immediately. Price has consistently been at the forefront of efforts to destroy Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security — a massive violation of the promise Trump made to protect the American people’s vital benefits.
On top of that, we now know that Price personally profited from his efforts to deregulate big pharma, putting people’s health at risk to line his own pockets. If Trump refuses to withdraw Price, the Senate must vote him down.”
