Richard (RJ) Eskow is a writer, broadcaster, policy analyst and political advisor. He is currently Senior Advisor on Health and Economic Justice with Social Security Works. Richard was one of three founding writers credited with The Huffington Post’s initial success, and was lead writer and editor for the Bernie Sanders campaign in 2015 and 2016. Before that he was a Senior Fellow with the Campaign for America’s Future.
Richard worked in health financing, risk management, insurance, and information technology in the US and more than 20 other countries. Clients included private entities, financial institutions, foundations, and governments. His writing has been published in The Nation, Salon, The Intercept, the Los Angeles Times, and elsewhere.
Richard hosts a news and opinion program that is broadcast on radio in Chicago and several other cities and across the country on cable television (Free Speech TV). He routinely interviews leading activists, politicians, presidential and major-office candidates, writers, and thinkers.
