Social Security Works Endorses Susan Wild to Co-Chair DPCC
Social Security Works is proud to endorse Representative Susan Wild (D-PA) for co-chair of the House Democratic Policy and Communications Committee. Alex Lawson, Executive Director of Social Security Works, released the following statement:
“Representative Susan Wild is an invaluable leader in the fight to lower drug prices. She is also a champion of protecting and expanding Social Security’s earned benefits.
Rep. Wild just won re-election, despite her district getting redder due to redistricting, because she is a fierce advocate for working people and seniors. Rep. Wild understands that the way to win is to stand up to corporate greed, and that there’s nothing ‘moderate’ about representing Wall Street instead of Main Street.
Rep. Wild is exactly the right person to set policy priorities for the Democratic caucus, and we enthusiastically endorse her for co-chair of the DPCC.”
