Troy N. Miller is the Special Projects Director and West Virginia Organizer at Social Security Works where he advocates for expanding Social Security, improving and expanding Medicare, and lowering prescription drug prices. Troy also serves as Managing Editor for Strong Arm Press, and as Executive Producer for The Zero Hour with RJ Eskow.
Troy was previously a writer, researcher and senior producer for The Big Picture with Thom Hartmann & The Thom Hartmann Program. Troy continues to collaborate with Thom Hartmann as a contributing writer and editor, contributing to the Third Edition of Last Hours of Ancient Sunlight and The Thom Hartmann Hidden History Series, including The Hidden History of American Healthcare and The Hidden History of Monopolies.
Troy holds a BSFS in Science, Technology & Int’l Affairs from Georgetown University in Washington, DC., and in his spare time Troy plays music, tends to his small farm, and advocates for a new progressive path forward in his home state of West Virginia.
